TYRE: GENDER PERSPECTIVE PROJECT

Integration, formation and job perspectives as goals for a project realized in the South of Lebanon

Lebanon, December, 2021.
In recent weeks, CIMIC operators, as part of the UNIFIL mission, participated in the ceremony for the delivery of professional tailoring machines in favor of the "Al Ber Wal Ihsan" association in Tyre. The ceremony represented the final act of a project planned and developed by the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) operators to support and help women's associations that deal with the start-up of the world of work, in a period marked by a profound economic crisis. The association will be able to count on professional tailoring machines to start training courses and increase the manufacturing skills of the local community. Local authorities participated in the ceremony, including the Mayor of Tyre, Mr. Hassan Dbouk and the Director of the Association, Mr. Ahmed Jubaili. The thanks were felt for the finalization of the project which aims to integrate women into the working world and implement the local craft sector.
