KOSOVO: THE CIMIC BRANCH OF THE REGIONAL COMMAND WEST IN SUPPORT OF THE WOMAN VICTIMS OF THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

In occasion of celebration of the Woman Holiday, in Deçan/Kosovo the CIMIC cell apparently part of the Multinational CIMIC Group operating in the western part of Kosovo, has concluded an important project of support of the woman victims of the domestic violence or in precarious situation.

In particular, Non-Governmental Organization “JETA” (Life in English) had had requested through the Lesion Monitoring Team (LMT), kitchen furnitures to be employed during cooking courses. Civilian Military Cooperation (CIMIC) has provided the furniture of the kitchen with electro domestic equipment and different needed utensils.

NGO “Jeta” founded in 2005, to date has supported  over 5000 woman regardless of the ethnicity, age, or religion, providing them professional formation classes in order to be re-integrated in the society.

At the ceremony except the Commander of RC-W col. Mario BOZZI, has participated the President of the Association Mrs. Safete GACAFERRI, Mrs. Jeta STATOVCI, Member of the Kosovo Parliament and Mayor Deçane,  Mr. Bashkim RAMOSAJ and other representatives of the Municipality and the presence of the woman members of the NGO “JETA”.
