COORDINATING COMMITTEE 2023

Representatives of the 6 contributing nations of the Multinational CIMIC Group met in Motta di Livenza

Motta di Livenza, 27 April 2023.

On April 27, 2023, at the "Mario Fiore" Barracks in Motta di Livenza, the Coordinating Committee, the governing body of the Multinational CIMIC Group, composed of representatives of the 6 Participating Nations (PNs) in the Multinational CIMIC Group (Greece, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, and Hungary) met.
A representative of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers of Europe (SHAPE) attended the event, which is held every six months and is crucial in outlining the programmatic lines of the Multinational CIMIC Group within NATO.
Among the issues addressed was the expansion of the entities with which to initiate structured cooperation, primarily with NATO's COE SFA and COE SP.
In addition, the proposal to strengthen the "internship" institution with leading universities with which the MNCG cooperates was unanimously approved.
Finally, possible adjustments to the organizational structure of the Command were discussed to make it even more functional and adherent to national and multinational operational commitments planned for the current year and, even more so, in medium-term planning.
