2nd NOVEMBER: CELEBRATION IN MEMORY OF FALLEN SOLDIERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.

Second lientenant Giovanni Pezzulo remembered by personnel of the Multinatinal Cimic Group in Motta di Livenza.

This morning Colonel Ugo Proietto, Commander of the Multinational Cimic Group of Motta di Livenza, accompanied by representation of MNCG personnel visited to the Oderzo cemetery to commemorate Second Lieutenant Giovanni Pezzulo, who fell in Afghanistan. His family members, the Honorable Marina Marchetto Aliprandi, the Mayor of Oderzo, Maria Scardellato, with the city flag, and a delegation of banners from the Combatant Arms and Arms Associations were present at the ceremony. After a moment of prayer and the laying of the wre-ath the Commander recalled the example, the courage, and the valor that distinguished Pezzulo as a CIMIC operator engaged in theAfghan theater. It was on 13th February 2008 that Giovanni Pezzulo died during an ambush while engaged in a civilian military cooperation activity in Surobi district, Afghanistan."
