CIMIC TRAINING HUB 01/25: RESULTS, PERSPECTIVES, TESTIMONIALS

Motta di Livenza, 7 July 2025 – The first CIMIC Training Hub 01/25 has successfully concluded at “Mario Fiore” Barracks, after four intensive days that brought together twenty-seven CIMIC operators from fourteen NATO nations in training and exchange activities.

With the support of experts from JFC Naples, JFC Brunssum, LANDCOM, MNC NE, MND SE, Representatives from the Lithuanian Joint Headquarters and the Romanian Land Forces Command, participants had the opportunity to explore the most recent developments in NATO doctrine and to exchange methods and tools aimed at ensuring effective civil-military cooperation within the framework of the NATO Force Model.

“This Training Hub is the direct continuation of the vision launched during the CIMIC Unit Commanders’ Conference (CUCC) held in Venice last June,” commented MNCG Commander, OF-5 Piero Furlan. “That event opened a cycle of reflection and development for CIMIC. Today we are already seeing the first tangible results: real interoperability, doctrinal exchange, and a renewed European CIMIC network.”

Throughout the course, direct testimonials from participants highlighted the great value of this initiative. Some described it as a crucial experience that broadened their CIMIC perspective, while others emphasised the unique opportunity for growth it provided in service of the Alliance. With this first edition, the CIMIC Training Hub confirms itself as an initiative capable of strengthening cohesion among CIMIC units and consolidating new operational synergies.
