ADIN 25 OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF IN MOTTA DI LIVENZA

The Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) has officially launched ADIN 25, a multinational tactical-level exercise combining a Command Post Exercise (CPX) and a Live Exercise (LIVEX).

In his opening remarks, the MNCG Commander, Col. Piero Furlan, underlined the importance of collective training: “Every training event is an investment in readiness. ADIN 25 is not only about interoperability it is about trust, adaptability and the ability to act together in complex environments.”

Approximately 200 participants from twenty Allied and Partner Nations are taking part, including NATO and partner CIMIC units from across Europe and North America. The presence of the Italian Army, with its dedicated technical, mobility and reconnaissance assets, ensures the integration of essential capabilities that enhance the realism of the training scenario.

The CPX, conducted at the Motta di Livenza Barracks, focuses on operational planning, civil environment analysis and decision-making processes, while the LIVEX brings tactical CIMIC Units into direct interaction with local authorities and institutions. Observers from NATO Commands are following the entire process to collect best practices and lessons identified.

Through these activities, MNCG once again demonstrates its ability to merge doctrine with action, confirming its unique position within NATO as the formation capable of turning CIMIC concepts into tangible operational effects.
