41st COORDINATING COMMITTEE
The new 'Technical Arrangement' is signed by the 6 participating Nations of the Multinational CIMIC Group.
The 41st Coordinating Committee has been held at the “Mario Fiore” Barrack in Motta di Livenza. This is the annual meeting organized by the representatives of the six MNCG Participating Nations: Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia. Firstly, the Commander of the Multinational CIMIC Group, Colonel Ugo Proietto, thanked the representatives of the partner Nations for their effort demonstrated during this period. Then, Col. Proietto highlighted the training, education and deployment efforts and goals achieved, finally illustrating thefuture developments and the challenges that the department in civil-military cooperation (CIMIC) is constantly confronting. The event ended with the official handover of the chairmanship between Portugal and Romania, through which the Brigadier General GARCIA LOPES transferred the leadership of the Coordinating Committee to the Brigadier General SCURT. Through this act, Romania assumes the chairmanship of the Committee for the next two years.
